Mixes Built to the Spec.
Tell us the strength, exposure class and placement method, and we will batch a mix that meets it. Our designs follow CSA A23.1, the Canadian standard for concrete materials and construction.
For residential work, we can recommend a suitable mix if you don't have an engineered spec. For commercial and infrastructure projects, we work directly from the engineer's requirements.
Residential: Footings, foundations, slabs, driveways and patios.
Commercial: Structural elements, suspended slabs and industrial floors.
Infrastructure: Marine, hydro, road and utility work with specified exposure classes.
Architectural: Integrally coloured and exposed-aggregate finishes.
Mixtures and Additives.
Admixtures change how concrete behaves in the truck, in the forms and over its service life. We add them at the plant so the dose is measured, not guessed.
Quality You Can Document.
Every mix is batched to a recorded design. We can provide mix submittals and batch tickets for projects that need them. As a member of Concrete BC, we follow the province's recognised industry practice.
If your project requires third-party testing, tell us when you book. We will coordinate timing with your testing agency.

Booking a Pour.
Call dispatch or email sales with the address, volume, strength, slump and preferred time. We will confirm the schedule and flag anything that affects delivery, such as access, weather or pump requirements.
Not sure how much you need? Our ordering guide explains how to estimate volume and what to have ready before the truck arrives.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book?
Book as early as you can. We recommend at least 48 hours for standard pours and more for large or early-morning placements.
What strength of concrete do I need?
It depends on the element and its exposure. Residential slabs and footings commonly use 25–32 MPa. Driveways and exterior flatwork exposed to freeze-thaw need air entrainment and a higher strength. If you have an engineer's spec, follow it.

Adding water weakens concrete and can void strength guarantees. If you need a more workable mix, ask for a water reducer or superplasticizer when you order.
